Bourbon Alfort Matcha

Made by Bourbon, Alfort refers to a range of half cookie/ half candy type of snacks. In this pack of Bourbon Alfort Matcha, it contains 10 individually packed cookies positioned in a white plastic tray.

The top layer is a vanilla butter biscuit with a thick layer of sweet matcha as the bottom layer. There is a drawing of a boat on the matcha itself.

As a snack, I feel that the overall taste is too sweet, which is largely due to the matcha ( seems to contain white chocolate but based on the ingredient list, it could be just cocoa butter ). It is not something that I will polish off in one seating.

Glico Double Pretz - Matcha and Vanilla

Product Description
This Double Pretz consists of a crunchy pretzel stick coated down one side with delicious matcha (Japanese green tea) and vanilla flavouring. Pretz are perfect for when you fancy snacking on something slightly less sweet than Pocky. Double Pretz Matcha Vanilla comes in smart metallic packaging, and each box contains a generous portion of pretzel sticks - enough to share if you're nice enough!

I bought a 45g of this Glico Double Pretz in Matcha and Vanilla flavours from China. Pretz isn't my kind of snack since I prefer something sweet rather than savoury which is what Pretz is known for. The Double Pretz has a thin layer of the matcha and vanilla coating on top of the matcha biscuit stick.
However, the matcha scent is pretty light so the satisfaction is not really there.

Glico Pejoy Matcha Mousse Flavour

Product Description
Pocky Matcha is a refreshing and light member of the Pocky family. It has the same crispy cookie biscuit core that is coated with something completely unique: a green tea cream coating. A perfect snack for a more sophisticated taste.

When I am overseas, I like to visit their supermarkets to check out their snacks and any unique offerings, that are different from Singapore. On my recent trip to China ( Changsha & Chong Qing ), I picked up Glico Pejoy in Matcha, Red Wine and Tiramisu flavours.

I blogged mainly on Matcha flavours because Matcha is my greatest love, together with Froyo. In this Pejoy, it looks and feels like pretzels but is not exactly so. The crispy biscuit is enveloped with matcha cream in it and is a joy to have it, in tea break. In fact, I finished the whole packet of 16 sticks ( 2 packets with 8 sticks in each ) within 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oil (Partially-Hydrogenated), Sugar, Lactose, Whole Milk Powder, Shortening, Malt Extract, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Green Tea Powder, Calcium Carbonate, Baking Powder, Table Salt, Flavourings, Emulsifier, Coffee Powder, Cocoa Butter, Enzyme Preparation.

Bourbon Elise Wafer - Matcha & White Cream

There was a promotion at Isetan Westgate where you get 3 boxes for $10, if I remembered correctly.
In each box, comes with 6 white cream filling wafers and 6 matcha cream filling wafers. All are individually wrapped.

Made in Japan, you can expect they are wrapped prettily, presentable enough as Christmas gifts with other snacks. The size and shape remind me of Kit-Kats.

The taste is like a regular wafer but with a hint of matcha taste if you have the green one. Nothing spectacular as the cream is too little to make a heavy impact.
