Meiji Rich Matcha Biscuit

Meiji comes to you with another great candy treat, an Oreo-like cookie sandwich but made from high quality ingredients, this one with real matcha (green tea). This is a box of Rich Matcha Biscuits using a creamy white chocolate blend that's 51% real matcha. A delicious, rich candy treat you are sure to love. Twist, split and share with friends, or enjoy each bite just for yourself. The pari pari (crispy) outside with the creamy inside makes for a delicious combination. Individually wrapped and each one good to the last bite.

A product of Japan, each box comes with just 6 cookies where every 2 cookies are packed together. So essentially, you get 3 packs in a box, with 6 cookies in total. A dear friend has bought it for me, but I think it costs $4 based on Choco Express.

It reminds me of American Oreos and even though I am not an oreo fan, I still feel that this matcha biscuit tastes worse than the regular oreos. I didn't really like it. The chocolate crunchy exterior is hard and dry with a mild bitter taste while the matcha blended with white chocolate is sweet. It may feel like a good combination but I just didn't like it, in general.

  1. Too bad you didn't like this. This is my favorite matcha snack. I love the intense match flavor and the dark chocolate cookie.
